How to report some one who is commiting credit card fraud?

Shell asked:

I know a person who lives off of fake credit cards. She doesn’t have a job and has 2 small children. She isn’t a friend of mine, she is some one I went to high school with and i bumped into her at target. We started talking and on my way to check out she told me she wanted to pay for my things..I thought it was odd and I said no thanks. She kept on insisting and when I asked why she opened her eyes really wide and showed me a credit card. She whispered “I make these credit cards using some one else’s info, trust me” I immediately took my things and walked away in complete shock. She had her 2 kids with her and it just broke my heart that a mother would do that. How do i report this and if i do can i remain anonymous? I live in Florida if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!

Moral vs. Biz Ethics. Whats wrong or right with credit card fraud?

annamauria asked:

A customer has asked one of our sales people to lie to the credit card company. He charged a substansial amount to his next of kin’s credit card (while the person was still living) and now that person is deceased. Now the credit card is declining all charges that he signed for, but he still has to pay for his services that were performed here. He wants my coworker to lie to the company and tell them the correct person signed. He wasn’t allowed to sign on the card even though he assured her that he was able to. So, there are lots of wrongs here, but what should happen from here? Nothing like this has ever happened here before and she has been working here over a decade! She asked for my advice but I have none.

what is the Texas statue of limitations on credit card fraud?

pspoptart asked:

While we were together my fiancee (then live-in boyfriend) used my bank password to log on and do a cash advance from my credit card to the bank account after he went on a little spending spree while I was on a trip to my Dad’s. I don’t think his name was on the bank account either, he just used my debit card, which I could argue he had permission for….but definitely NOT to do a cash advance with my credit card!

It happened in 2006 or so and I was giving him time to pay up but he’s not doing so. How long do I have before it’s too late to prosecute him?
