How do I get my money back from EBAY fraud?

Question by Kaitlyn: How do I get my money back from EBAY fraud?
I did not pay through Paypal. I already filed a dispute (the seller is not answering) and I have already contacted ebay but they aren’t doing anything. It has been exactly 30 days since the purchase. Will calling the credit card companion help? According to Ebay, “Most accompany provide 100% online protection.” Is this true for Mastercard? PLEASE help. I paid over 100 dollars.

YES. File a credit card dispute with Mastercard. As long as you file it within 59 days of making the purchase, they will honor it. Hurryyyyy! Good luck.

for the past few weeks, I have been using my mastercard to withdraw money from the ATMs here in Vietnam. I just noticed on my statement there is a transaction that I am not sure who it belongs to. It says that I withdrew 139.40 USD even though the maximum I’ve withdrawn is 1 million VND. Please help as I am not too sure what to do.

Please please help me, facing potential credit card fraud?

☮Peace Officer☮ asked:

My dad came down to my house (he lives in Fort Worth) and made some charges on his credit card on my computer, he ordered me some stuff, him some stuff etc etc… well he went through 25k in 2 months! And now he is disputing all the charges he made at my house! What do I do? I do all my banking at the same bank he does (Chase) My dad is a drug addict and has been strung out since he got all that money, I have witnesses that were here when he made those charges from my computer, should I turn him in? I also have witnesses that have seen him so messed up that he doesn’t remember things, and so messed up he talks about “People hiding in his bushes” (yes I’m serious and NOT exaggerating)
Sorry it’s not a credit card, it’s a debit card.

HELP ? Can this person go to jail for credit card fraud?

YE asked:

One of my cousins opened and used credit cards in the name of another family member, which lived at the same address. When the first bill came, the person found out and made the cousin pay all that was owed on the cards. My cousin paid right away so the credit was not damaged and no charges were pressed at the time. Now, 1 year later the person is threatening to press charges and “put him in jail” because she is upset over a family matter that has nothing to do with the credit card issues of the past. Can my cousin go to jail over this if he paid the balance at the first month (he gave the money to her and she paid them herself) and no charges were pressed? Please help, I know that he did very wrong, but he paid for it and her credit was not affected at all. I think its wrong she uses this against him now.
